In East Heaven's inspiration, the Japanese bathhouse, communal bathing has been an enjoyable and integral part of the culture for centuries. As many Japanese know, enjoying a leisurely afternoon in a hot tub together creates a feeling of community and kinship between old friends, family, and new acquaintances. We invite our female friends to continue the tradition every Saturday with Women's Tub Day. Typically, we reserve our large outdoor fiberglass tub so as to comfortably accommodate up to eight women. There is also plenty of room to relax, cool off, and chat on our spacious decking. Clothing is optional, but bathing suits are completely appropriate as well. Please email us at info@eastheaven.com or call us at (413) 587-0000 if you have any questions about Women's Tub Day!
by yourself please call ahead to be sure there are other women tubbing, as we require a two person minimum.
"To bathe together with one's group- one's friends, colleagues, fellow students, co-workers- is to establish personal bonds and to reaffirm a sense of kinship and interdependence... 'Hadaka no tsukia'- 'Friend's who bathe together are the closest friends of all." -Furo 'The Japanese Bath', Grilli and Levy
